When travelling to Fez, we encountered Javier, a visually impaired tourist with glaucoma. Morrocan cities are famous for their complicated urban areas. In order for him to feel safe he had memorized the whole map of the city so that he could walk without displaying his disability.
This story inspired us to create a device that enhances the navigation but is discreet and easy to use.
Obstacles notifications & reports
Allows blind people to bypass obstacles through a collaborative network built with their own obstacle reports and enhanced with a layer of open data such as public works or dangerous crossings.

The vibration-based cues allow users to hear traffic sounds and have social interactions. OmniGuide, providing the visually impaired with a sense of security in an unpredictable world.
